Ismaila Ibrahima BARRY

is the founder of Daroul Houda Academy. A renowned Quranic instructor, he specializes in Tajwid and Hifz (memorization) with certifications (Ijazah and Sanad). He has studied with many eminent scholars and at renowned Islamic institutions around the world.

In 2007, he earned a bachelor's degree in jurisprudence and Islamic studies from the Aliou Boun Abi Talib Institute in Dakar, Senegal. After memorizing the entire Holy Quran, he began teaching it in 2012.

Mastering three widely spoken languages (Arabic, French, as well as his mother tongue, Fulani, and Wolof), he is able to transmit his knowledge to a wide audience. In addition, he is proficient in four of the main readings of the Holy Quran (Ḥafs, Warsh, Qālūn, and Ad-Dūrī) and has been certified to teach and issue an official certificate (Ijazah) to students who meet the required requirements.
